Hourly Rate
If booked for six hours or less.
- R80 – R120 per hour.
Daily Rate
If booked for six hours or more.
- R400 – R600 per day.
Weekly Rate
Booked Monday – Friday (School Holiday).
- R1800+ per week.
Babysitter
A babysitter takes care of children in the absence of the parents. Whether you're looking for a romantic night out, or a vacation escape, a babysitter is the perfect solution for taking some time for yourself. Basic babysitter duties:
Care
Providing the children with nurturance, care and companionship.
Medicine
Administering medication if required.
Bath
Bathing children and making sure teeth are brushed.
Meals
Preparation of healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Bed time
Reading stories and putting children to bed.
Tidying
Keeps the children’s areas neat and tidy.
Entertain
Keeping kids busy and entertained while parents are absent.
Update
Giving parents regular updates on how everything is going.
Rates
Babysitters are paid an hourly rate of between R80 to R120. However, if the babysitter is required to work past midnight, the rate increases by approximately R20 per hour. The employer is responsible for paying the babysitter‘s fee directly.
