At Sitters Co, our mission is to connect families with reliable, compassionate, and experienced au pairs, nannies, and babysitters who provide exceptional childcare and support.

Whether you’re looking for a babysitter for a date night or a full-time au pair to become part of the family, we’re here to help you find the perfect match for your needs.

Easy Process

Experience the simplicity of our process – easy, efficient, and tailored to make finding the perfect match a breeze.

Register

The first step is to register by completing our online application form. We want to learn more about your family and your needs. Once your registration is processed, we’ll begin advertising the position and sending you CVs of suitable candidates for review.

Interview

We interview and screen every candidate before families meet them. Once screening is complete, we present families with candidates' profiles, allowing them to choose whom they'd like to interview. We then arrange interviews at a time and location that work best for them.

Hire

Once the family selects the candidate that best meets their needs, an offer will be sent to the chosen candidate. If the candidate accepts the offer, an invoice for the placement fee will be sent to the family. Once the placement fee is settled, the candidate is free to start working.

Our guarantee

Sitters Co offers a 3–month replacement guarantee period on all permanent placements (placements exceeding 6 months), provided that our terms and conditions have been adhered to. If the candidate provided by Sitters Co is not satisfactory to your family or circumstances within the first 3 months of their employment, we will provide a replacement at no extra charge.

Our
Screening

We have taken a meticulous and thorough approach to ensure that you get the excellent assistance that you need and deserve within your family!

All applicants are required to fill in our online registration form. If they meet our minimum requirements, they will be invited for a face-to-face interview with one of our consultants, where we will follow a structured in-depth questionnaire to discuss previous experience and characteristics.

These checks are optional if requested by the families. Background checks include: ID/Work Permit Verification; Criminal Background check; Driver’s License Verification; National Sex Offender registry clearance.

We contact all past childcare-related employees for an appropriate background; one negative reference is sufficient to terminate representation.
